DETAILS FOR VOLUNTEERS

ARRIVAL & PARKING: Plan to arrive around 7:00 a.m. When you enter the site through your specific entrance (see map below), you will be greeted by an MAA volunteer and directed to your work zone.

All personal vehicles not being actively used for work will use Entrance #1 and park in the field.

LOGS & CHIPS: If you bring your own log truck, please use it and dump logs in the designated area. Logs that cannot be chipped should be left on the ground close to a gravel road so that they are within reach for a log truck. If your trucks fill up with wood chips, Sam White & Sons (16 West Mill Street, Medfield) is generously allowing volunteer companies to dump chips for free at their facility on Friday.

LEGACY AWARD CEREMONY & GROUP PHOTO: Please join us in front of the white barn at 12:00 noon where we will honor Ellis Allen, MCA with the MAA’s Legacy award and take a group photo. Please note new time.

FOOD & BEVERAGE: The Trustees will deliver breakfast pastries mid-morning to each of the zones. A cookout will be held under the tent at 12:30 p.m. There is limited potable water onsite, so plan to bring your own water, coffee, or beverages.

Please refer to the map below for your zones. All volunteers will use the MAIN ENTRANCE (1) except where noted. (Hunt, Hartney & Maltby to use entrance 2. Cambridge to use entrance 3).
