The City of Newton’s Urban Forestry Division is growing, we are looking to fill multiple tree care positions. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of dedicated professionals working to rebuild Newton’s Urban Forestry program.  Newton Urban Forestry focuses on responding to the needs of our customers and ensuring safety for its workers and the public. Starting salary is $30.74 per hour, potentially over $40 per hour by year six.

Over 40 paid days off a year including holidays, sick days, vacation days, and floating holidays.  In addition to paid time off employees work four day work weeks June through September (every Friday off during the summer).  

We also provide a clothing allowance, all PPEs, uniforms, and boots. Frequent overtime opportunities also available.
