This person is responsible for safe delivery and application of PHC services, including, but not limited to defensive driving of a PHC vehicle, monitoring pests, application of pesticides, and communicating with customers. The PHC Specialist is under direct supervision of our Tree Division Manager.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in the plant health care industry as well as a passion for tree and shrub care.

The ability to identify and differentiate plant species, diagnose and treat insect and disease problems. specific to individual plants. A strong work ethic, a positive attitude, a willingness to expand your knowledge, work independently, and excellent customer service skills are also required.

The ability to track and order inventory.

Good record keeping skills.

1 year of applicable experience in the Plant Health Care field.

A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

Good physical condition with the ability to work in all weather conditions.

Excellent verbal, written, technological and communication skills.

Valid Massachusetts core pesticide license preferred.
-
Arborist certification preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation: $28-35/hr depending on qualifications

Full-Time. Year-round position if interested in tree care in addition to the PHC role.
