Tree Planting: Costs & Considerations

Tree planting is a high-profile, popular event in urban forestry and arboriculture. It is an activity often conducted with the intent of increasing canopy cover, beautifying a neighborhood, or combating climate change. yet long-term success is dictated by decisions made well before installation. Nursery production methods and species selection all have direct impacts on establishment, structural development, and long-term tree health.

Join us as Rick Harper reviews critical, sometimes overlooked factors that influence post-planting performance. Take away practical guidance to improve tree health and promote plant longevity in urban environments.
