March 2024 MAA & MALP Meeting: Mental Health and Substance Use Issues in the Workplace - A Critical Conversation

  • Tuesday, March 19, 2024
  • 3:30 PM - 7:00 PM
  • The German Club, Route 109, Walpole MA

REGISTRATION HAS BEEN TURNED OFF SO THAT WE CAN PREPARE FOR THE MEETING.  LIMITED WALK IN SPACE AVAILABLE.

NOTE EARLIER START TIME!
Presentation will begin at 4:00 PM with networking and dinner to follow.

Mental health issues and substance abuse disorders affect everyone in our community, including our employees. Our speaker, Lori McCarthy, will lead an important conversation on how mental health and substance abuse impact the workforce. Learn how you, as a tree and landscape company leader, can identify unhealthy behaviors, support your team, and keep the workplace safe and productive. Treatment, recovery, and prevention will be addressed, and well as company morale and other critical considerations. Bring your experiences, your questions, and be ready to expand your knowledge on this important issue.

After the positive feedback we've received about networking that took place at Fall Field Day in September 2023, we're glad to offer a combined MAA and MALP membership meeting.  We hope you can join us for this important discussion and come away with new contacts, meaningful connections and valuable information.

Prior to taking the helm at Herren Wellness, she was a member of the Senior Management team at Gosnold on Cape Cod, an addiction and mental healthcare organization.
