The MAA has selected historic Bird Park in East Walpole, MA as the site for our biennial group celebration. The Trustees serve as stewards of this well-loved, 89-acre community park that is filled with mature tree in need of serious tree care. Large tree crew or single arborist, everyone is welcome to lend a hand at Bird Park on April 28!
Plans for the day include a morning of tree work, as well as a midday cookout, ceremonial tree planting, and other festivities to recognize our member volunteers.
With hundreds of mature specimen trees in need of care, tree work at Bird Park will include structural pruning, tree planting, plant health care, select removals, and more.
