The Tree Warden shall be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and care of all community trees – on streets and town commons as well as in parks, schoolyards, and town conservation areas. The Tree Warden is responsible for the oversight of utility arboriculture operations, running tree-related public meetings and working with Town employees and outside contractors for arboriculture related work.
Certified Arborist or graduate of a two-year college with an Associate’s degree in the field of arboriculture, with three (3) years related work experience
Must obtain Massachusetts Pesticide License within three months of hire.
Must possess a valid Massachusetts Driver's License.
This part time position will be maximum of 40 hours per month and salary will depend on qualifications and experience.
