MCA CD Study Guide

The Massachusetts Certified Arborist Study Guide is available on CD and provides a comprehensive resource for the Massachusetts tree care professional. Developed by a team of experts from the University of Massachusetts and the MAA, this essential resource serves as a primer for MCA candidates.

The MCA examination is designed to assess the fundamental knowledge and skills that all tree care professionals should have, regardless of their area of practice. The knowledge required to pass the exam is significant. Certification candidates should begin preparing for the exam well in advance. The exam is typically offered twice a year (Spring/Fall). Exam applications are found in the Study Guide and are due, along with testing fees, two weeks prior to the scheduled examination date.
